A grilled T-bone steak with char marks sits on a wooden cutting board atop a silver tray, next to a glass of red wine on a wooden table.

Rich in tradition, The Met is housed inside the historic Marion Building, which dates to 1903.
We’ve built our reputation on the classics—filet mignon, New York peppercorn steak, Delmonico, porterhouse, and Chateaubriand carved tableside—each prepared with precision and served with unmatched hospitality.

As the only steakhouse in town offering a global steak program, The Met serves the finest cuts from around the world—USDA Prime from Double R Ranch, American Wagyu from Snake River Farms, and exclusive Japanese A-5 Wagyu. Our steaks are custom dry-aged and seared over mesquite charcoal, known as the ‘Iron Wood of the World,’ to achieve an exceptional depth of flavor.

Our award-winning wine list and expertly crafted cocktails elevate every meal, while our 60-foot black marble bar is a favorite gathering place, where guests toast to Seattle’s wins and watch the markets move.

Whether you’re celebrating a milestone or simply savoring a great meal, every visit to The Met is an experience that lingers long after the last bite.
